The 75th Berlin Film Festival witnessed an impressive turnout for the Chinese film "Sheng Xi Zhi Di", which premiered amidst massive crowds. Directed by Ming Hua and starring Shang Wang, the film garnered significant attention from the audience, reflecting high expectations.
The film's screening took place amidst freezing temperatures, with snowfall covering the festival grounds in Germany. As the festival began, images from the screening indicated a clear interest in this cinematic work, with news featuring long queues of eager viewers.
The Berlin Film Festival also served as a convergence point for numerous celebrities and activists, with Tilda Swinton and several jury members in attendance.
The festival, which kicked off under the influence of a snowstorm, also hosted a protest event in support of the Palestinian cause, adding a political dimension to this global artistic event.
As part of the opening screening, the film "The Light" tackled migration issues and coincided with the German elections.
